One of those moods..

I woke up today in one of those moods.. Which just makes this cold, wet, grey, dreary day just that little bit worse. Don't get me wrong, I love the rain, & I 'specially love watching it from the window & listening to it whilst lying in bed all snug.. But nope, not today. It didn't help that I had it confirmed my wage was lower than I was first told - a 'misunderstanding' in the interview. Hmm. & as I am being emergency taxed, I just wonder why on earth I bother to work! I also came home from work early as they didn't need me (meaning less hours worked, less pay) to find my dog had decided to 'open' one of my parcels.. Vintage scarves aren't for you Chelsea Boo!!

Sorry to sound so depressing. I'm off to parcel up some jewellery & pop to the post office (in the cold).

I am craving a hot chocolate, with whipped cream... marshamallows.. chocolate sprinkles... mmmm. But as I only have the hot chocolate, that will have to do for tonight. Will most certainly warm me up on this freezing cold night.

Busy Busy Bee..

Sorry I haven't blogged lately. I have had a bit of a busy week!

I went to Disney on Ice last Thursday, it was amazing!! I'm such a big kid at heart. I went with my friend Sarah and her friend Sophie, was a nice girly night out - specially as we had a perv on some topless men (at Disney on Ice, I know - shocking ;p ) and a few cheeky vinos after.

Saturday - I had a stall at a Ladies Day, which was held at a church hall. It was a lovely day, really busy compared to other craft fairs I have sold at, and the people there were so nice :)

Sunday - I went to the NEC (Birmingham) to the Hobby Crafts show.. Heaven - lots & lots & lots & lots of crafty goodies. I steered clear of the beads as I have enough at the moment, and I'm awaiting the arrival of lots of new charms - But got some lovely papercraft bits & bobs (as I also enjoy cardmaking). Got a heat gun and embossing powders so will try that out on my cards soon, see how I get on :) . Its a fab day out for all crafty people, but very tiring (my body ached the next day! - shows how unfit I am eh!)..

Monday - I had no work, yet lots of custom charm bracelet to make. Made as many as I could before I ran out of chain (bad times!).. So now I'm just about to order some more (& may sneak a few charms in too)!

Also going to look into the Princes Trust, as would love to start up a small business with my jewellery etc. Have plenty of ideas just not sure if it would work, so hopefully look into it.

I haven't been sleeping properly lately, hence the sort of late blog.
I haven't had any work from the agency all week, which is, well, just rubbish - as that means no money next week (BAD TIMES!).

Current Read..

I am currently reading a book that I started on holiday last year (June/July 2009). I got about half way through & haven't had chance to pick it back up & finish it, deary me. I love to read (when I get the time, of course), and this week is a perfect time to do so - as I am covering the door at the bar/squash courts. Anyway, the book I am reading is called 'A Place Called Here' By Cecelia Ahern. I ♥ her books! They are so imaginative, and always make me want to read more. I have previously read; 'Where Rainbows End,' 'If You Could See Me Now,' & 'PS I Love You' - all by the same author... & I would recommend them all. As much as I love the movie, I prefer the book of PS I Love You :)

A Place Called Here is about a lady who makes it her mission to search for lost things, wether it be a sock or a person, she would just like to be content with finding where they are gone. Whilst out jogging one day, she takes a wrong place & ends up.. Where the lost things are! Be it people, clothes, animals etc - this is where they go.

I am looking forward to sitting down in my chair at work tonight with a cappucino & carrying on with my book, good times! ♥

This is all pretty new to me. I have followed and nosey'd on peoples blogs before, but never have I myself blogged. Maybe someone will have some interest in what goes on in my life, what I do, etc - who knows hey!

I guess I had better introduce myself, to anyone that is having a read. My name is Kirsty, and I am 22 years old from Birmingham, England. At the moment I am a very busy bee, as I work 2 jobs. I am a nursery nurse by day (working for an agency, therefore I go to different places each day), and a member of bar staff at a members club a number of evenings a week.. In my spare time I enjoy crafting, especially jewellery making - so you may see bits of my work and craft goodies that have arrived on here too! I also enjoy going out with friends, shopping (I am a bit of an eBay addict!), and other random things!

I have a greyhound called Chelsea, and 2 rabbits; called Gavlar & Bobbin. The name Chelsea Boo is after my gorgeous greyhound, which is also the name of which my little jewellery business is also called..

Not too sure what else to put at the moment, so I shall leave it here.
